Hot Showers NOT Good For Skin

Do Long, Hot Showers Dry Your Skin?

A steamy shower may sound soothing on a cold winter day. But it can actually make skin that's already dry feel even worse.

Basically, the steam opens up your pores and moisture evaporates right out.

So try taking short showers and apply moisturizer before you even exit the tub; dermatologists say if you slap your moisturizer on within three minutes of showering, while your skin’s damp, the lotion helps lock in some of the surface moisture.
