Eyeshadow Base
Don’t want to buy a pricey Primer. Just put a little bit of Vaseline on your eye lids.You can even use Vaseline as a base for your eyeshadow and just see how the shadow color appears so much more beautiful and vibrant.
Makeup remover
Vaseline is a great eye makeup remover. You only have to use a tiny amount to remove even the strongest waterproof mascara. Directions: rub Vaseline on each eye (it will smear).
Heat is the first fragrance by attractive and talented Beyonce and it arrives on the market in February 2010. Name of the fragrance was inspired by Beyonce's tour and performances. Colour of flacon and liquid was chosen after Beyonce's favourite colour – red, with a wish to look like fire with antique details.
Beyonce's temperament was depicted through the whole concept of the fragrance, from name and design to composition created in cooperation with perfumers of the house of Givaudan - Claude Dir and Olivier Gillotin. Top notes of Heat are decorated with red vanilla-orchid, magnolia, neroli and peach. A passionate heart offers honeysuckle, almond and musky cream, while a base finishes with sequoia wood, tonka and amber.
Even though Beyonce is advertising face of perfumes Diamonds Armani and True Star Tommy Hilfiger, she says that her first fragrance, Heat, represents herself. Her wish is that her first fragrance stands for everything that makes her and that she is content with the final product, without worrying about deadlines of work on the perfume. "This is my first fragrance and I want to be sure that I will love it forever! " - stated Beyonce for wwd.
Fragrance Heat was created in an antique glass flacon, just like Beyonce wanted. She coloured it in red nuances which remind of flames transforming into burning orange. Fiery and sexy, just like her, the flacon is decorated with a discrete gold detail on neck of the flacon with engraved name of the fragrance. Assortment of Heat perfume includes 30, 50 and 100ml EDT, along with a 200 ml golden lotion.
Advertising campaign was made by photographer Michael Thompson, while video commercial was directed by Jake Nava. Face of the advertising campaign is Beyonce Knowles, of course.
There are several ways to combat frizz, says hairstylist Alan Tosler of the tosler.davis salon in New York City. Here are his tips to keep your hair healthy and under control:
1. Get your hair trimmed every 6 to 8 weeks. This will stop split ends from splitting up the hair shaft and causing hair to frizz out.
2. When blow-drying, use a nozzle on your dryer to direct the heat down the hair shaft, smoothing it out, and a round brush with boar bristles. Tosler recommends applying a no-frizz product before styling, like Rene Furterer No Frizz Gel.
3. When letting hair dry naturally, don't put your fingers through your hair until it is completely dry -- especially on humid days.
4. Avoid washing and blow-drying your hair every day, as this strips your locks of its natural oils. Tosler recommends using hydrating Terax shampoos and cream conditioners every second day.
5. Deep-condition your hair once a week with a hair mask like Avon Advanced Techniques Deep Conditioning Mask.
6. Keep a frizz-control serum, such as John Frieda Frizz-Ease, in your desk at work for midday touch-ups. Pour a few drops into hands, then smooth over your hair for instant shine.
Step 1: Mix EYE SHADOWS in CHAMPAGNE & NUDE and dust all over lids with CREASE BRUSH #10.
Step 2: Using WATERPROOF SHADOW LINER DUO in SLATE, fuzz the lighter shade along the lashline, moving up and out in the outer corners.
Step 3: Take ARCED LINER BRUSH #21 and apply JET SET WATERPROOF LINER in NAVY BLUE back and forth along lashline. Insider Secret - the line can be messy and should blend into the shadow. Next, take DEFINER BRUSH #15 and buff over the liner to soften any hard lines.
Step 4: Lightly dust a small amount of EYE SHADOW in ZOOM all over lids using CREASE BRUSH #10.
Step 5: Using the same shade from WATERPROOF SHADOW LINER DUO in SLATE, blend along lower lashline using DOUBLE-ENDED SMUDGER BRUSH #20. Next, sweep EYE SHADOW in ZOOM over it using DEFINER BRUSH #15.
Step 6: Line the inner rim with JET SET in NAVY BLUE using DOUBLE-ENDED SMUDGER BRUSH #20.
Step 7: Add impact by coating lashes with BIONIC MASCARA in INDIGO INK.
Step 8: When wearing a bold eye, always use neutral bronze shades on cheeks. Take POWDER BRUSH #1 and apply BAKED FUSION SOFT LIGHTS in STARBURST high on the cheekbones, then dust lightly over forehead, nose and chin.
Step 9: For a gorgeous apricot lip, apply Photo Finish Lipstick in Splendid, followed by REFLECTION HIGH SHINE LIP GLOSS to soften the color and add shine.
