Estee Lauder Pure Color Collection Fall 2010

The LE Pure Color Collection for Fall 2010 features smouldering eyes, shimmering lips and bold nails.

The complete make-up collection includes two distinct looks : Blue Dahlia and Surreal Violet.

Eyes take centre stage in hues of electric blue and vintage violet, while lips shimmer in subtle shades of pale pink and raspberry. Deep navy and iridescent lilac nail polishes complete the look.

When to Toss What's In Your Makeup Bag

Find out what the shelf life is for the cosmetics you use every day.

Despite any urges you may have to keep all your favorite beauty products until every tube, tin, and bottle is empty, the fact is cosmetics do have a shelf life. And to prevent the bacteria in old products from causing skin irritations, rashes, and acne breakouts, you'll need to toss anything that's past its prime.

To help you figure out when to get rid of whatever's been sitting at the bottom of your makeup bag, here's a list of cosmetics and their approximate expiration dates.

* Mascara: 3 to 4 months — It has a very short shelf life because the wand picks up bacteria from the eye area with every use, causing the tube to become a ground for microorganisms.

* Eyeliners: 4 to 6 months — Any makeup used near the eyes can easily pick up bacteria, so it's best to part ways after a short time. Exception here is pencil eyeliners. If you sharpen them regularly, they can last up to a year or longer.

* Multi use Products: 6 months — Sticks that can be used on your eyes, lips, and cheeks are time and money-savers, but they can also spread germs all around your face. Protect yourself by wiping the surface of the product before switching from one spot to another.

* Cream-based Makeup: 1 to 2 years — Similar to moisturizers, liquid- or cream-based cosmetics like foundation, concealer, and cream blush often contain fatty ingredients that can go bad quickly.

* Lip Color: 1 to 2 years — Use a lip brush to avoid transferring germs from your mouth onto your lipstick tube.

* Nail Polish: 2 years — A clear sign that your polish has gone bad is that the color has separated from the oil in the bottle or it geta tacky.

* Powder-based Makeup: 2 to 3 years — Because most do not contain water, face powders, eye shadows, and powder blushes and bronzers can usually last a bit longer than other types of cosmetics.

If you don't remember when you bought a product, a good rule of thumb is to toss anything that smells "BAD,". A change in color or texture is another dead giveaway. But if you get an infection on your face (especially on your eyes or lips), immediately throw out products that have come into contact with those areas.

1. Eyeshadow as blush. Not getting much usage out of some of your bright eyeshadows? Use them as a blush instead. Brighter colors like peach, orange, red, and pink look beautiful on the cheeks.

2. Eyeshadow as eye liner and vice versa. You can also use your eyeshadows as liner by using a eyeliner brush. It’s perfect for adding pops of color as well as making your shadows work double time.Eyeliner can also work as a great eyeshadow base.

3. Lipstick as creme blush. If you tried to go bold with this season’s new orange and you want to add more mileage to your tube, try rubbing a bit into your cheeks with your fingers for a lovely cream flush. Works with your red and pink lipsticks, too. Tone it down with a dusting of loose (or pressed) powder.

4. Use water to intensify your eyeshadows. If you bought a shadow (especially one from the drugstore) that doesn’t seem to stay put or looks a bit dull, try using a bit of water to apply it to help intensify the color. It also helps to make your shadow last longer.

5. Make lip color combos with your gloss, lipstick, and lip pencils. If there’s frosty lipstick in your stash that you cannot wear alone, try using a lip pencil and a touch of gloss to make it more wearable. You can actually have unlimited options with very few products.

Test : Can Bior'e remove Glitter and Mascara ????

For this test, i used

"Eye primer, Black Creme Eyeshadow, Glitter Eyeshadow (Pearl & Silver), Waterproof Eyeliner pencil on top and bottom lash and finally 1 thick coat of Waterproof Mascara"

Result: After Removing Make-up

Only 4 drops of make-up remover and it removed all my make-up. Same cotton pad was used to remove eyeshadow and then Mascara.

Biore removed all my Eyeshadow, glitter, eyeliner and even mascara.

See how clean my sink looks ;) No Oily Feeling !!!
